Do you agree with this statement about parenting?

Perhaps the "mean and bratty" kids are going to timeout for BEING mean or bratty. A child needs to know his/her parents love them enough to set appropriate boundaries. Kids without any boundaries are in for a rude awakening in their teen and young adult years, when they discover that the whole world dosent cater to them.
