Thesis Statement for Career Paper?

I have to write a thesis statement for a career paper for my college course. I want to be a juvenile probation officer. Is this thesis statement good? "My lifelong dream has been to rehabilitate juvenile delinquents so that they can function properly in society; being a juvenile probation officer will make my dream come true." If not please help! lol. I'm not good with this stuff!
