Unpaid parking ticket from 8 years ago?

But when I was 17 I got a couple parking tickets. Now I was pulled over 2 years ago for making a 'short stop' and I gave them my license and they said since it was a first time thing, I was let go with warning. I've never had a traffic ticket. So am in there system? Wouldn't it of popped up if I was delinquent? This all came to mind after a movie I watched.
