I have swollen painful gums just on the right side of the lower molars. It started yesterday but today I woke up and the gums are white and swollen and look like canker sores! How can I help my friend?

I have a friend who is a real delinquent. His favorite thing to do is go and start fights. He's been to jail many times for it. im pretty much in the same predicament as you although im not quite as late. the hcg hormones could not be being picked up by an at home pregnancy test if you are. i would recommend seeing a doctor for a blood test if your period doesnt show or a positive test doesnt come up. my cousin didnt find out she was pregnant until she was 10 weeks along. it just all depends on your body i guess.

Do i have Fibromyalgia?

I am in constant pain which has progressively got worse from the age of 15. It started with an uncomfortable back which I constantly clicked loudly (and got people to stand on).My back now doesn't click any more. I then started to feel get headaches when i was 17 and from then on had a constant pressure in my head and in the last three years I have had a constant worsening muscle pain; which includes at the side of my eye sockets near my nose-which i can just about touch), sides of my head, my jaw, under my ears, my neck, shoulders, arms, chest and my lower and upper back. How do I find the breed of my dog (dog experts welcome)?

Ok, the pound said she was a border collie boxer mix, but I think she's part greyhound or something. She has shiny short black hair. There is a white stripe on her forehead/muzzle that goes down and ends on her chest, just like a border collie. Her paws are white partially, like only white up to just past the toe bones. When you look at her jowls, or mouth from below when she's panting, you can see the boxer part. But there's somethings different about her. I swear, when she wags her tail, it feels whip-like because she is really strong. Whenever she runs, i think she uses the double suspension gallop, some method greyhounds use to run. She's a fast runner. But I don't know if she is a greyhound or something else like a whippet or an italian greyhound. So I measured her and she's about 25 inches from the ground to her back and about a yard long. So, what do you think? Oh yeah, also she's older now so now she has more white around her eyes, they look like eyebrows. She has more white around where her white stripe is. Her personality is goofy. She's sneaky though. She is very loving, though, except when she's tired, she wants to growl at everyone. Shortness of Breath/Sharp Pain in Chest?

For the last few months, I have been having constant shortness of breath all day and night also had chest pains. I went to the doctor got a lung function test done, and an EKG done. The doctor said my heart is fine and there is nothing wrong with me. I got these tests done about a month ago. I still have the shortness of breath symptom, and have quit exercising because when i do some kind of exercise i feel i can't my breath and feel like i can't take a deep full breath. Sometimes i get sudden sharp pain in the left side of my chest which feels like it is my heart that is getting this sharp sudden pain, which makes me scared and i stop doing whatever i am doing. I get scared when that happens it has happened a few times now within the last 2 months and that is why i had gotten the EKG done. The doctors say nothing is wrong with my heart and nothing is wrong with my lungs. I have no idea why this happens but i am upset about why i can't exercise anymore, whenever i exercise i just dont feel that great too do it, because of the constant shortness of breath i have. I also have a tight throat, whenever i swallow it hurts from the outside of the throat, like its the throat muscles not a sore throat, which makes me not eat at times. What should i do, go to a cardiologist? Please Help??

Reoccurring pus on tonsil & sore throat?

This may be what is called tonsil stones. It is pretty gross. Food gets caught in your tonsils and then comes out as this smelly squishy thing. My doctor suggested using the back of the toothbrush and scraping upwards to push them out. Yuck! It is a very invasive way to deal with it, but I had my tonsils taken out. I have created a database in Access 2003 with 2 tables, each with a corresponding forms. Suddenly, Access will not allow me to enter anything into one of my forms (the other form still "works"). No matter what field I type into, I get an error 3022 message. I hurt my ankle 2-3 days ago, what could be the problem?

About 2-3 days ago I put too much pressure on the left side of my ankle (you know where the bone sticks out) I kind of jumped when I done it and it's been really sore ever since. Whats going on with my period lol?

So, in May we had sex when I ovulated. My period came that month but it was wierd it stopped and started and was lighter and didn't bleed at night. Tooth infection while pregnant!! straight torturre?

in the very beginning of my pregnancy i was munchin on some carrots wen i accidentally bit into my tongue ring and broke my tooth completely in half. for awhile it was fine until a few weeks ago it started to throb. last weekend i broke into a fever and since then my throat has been sore and swollen and my jaw is aching non stop. i went to my dentist and i need a root canal but he wont work on me due to the high risk of taking antibiotics while pregnant. i am only 17 weeks pregnant! i still have a very long way to go before i can have anything done about this tooth. is my dentist wrong? is this hurting my baby? not to mention hurting my health since the only thing this is going to do is get worse. what can i do?? this pain added on to my everyday morning sickness is driving me crazyy! oh ive also been taking tylenol liquid form to help a little with the pain but all that does is put me to sleep. any advice or help will be greatly appreciated

Small bump on lip wont go away turns white with hydrogen peroxide please help!?

i have a small bump on my bottom lip. it is sometimes more noticeable than other times but for the most part has stayed the same for a month and a half now. i was treating it like a cold sore (putting abreva on it and hydrogen peroxide) but it would not clear up although those two treatments seemed to help a bit for a few hours. then tonight i held the qtip with peroxide on the bump and it began to turn white and slowly the whole bump turned bright white as it burned and stung. now its as white as a piece of paper. when i asked the doctor what it was two weeks ago he wasnt sure, said some kind of growth or wart and there was nothing he could do. any idea what this is? i want it gone!

My PS2 has the standard Red, White, and Yellow plugs. I put them in the corresponding colors in the television. The PS2 is plugged into the wall socket as well, as it should be. The colored plugs on the television have 'AV2' printed under them, but that imput doesn't show the PS2. I went through every imput and they all just said 'No signal'. Am I just missing something?

Why do my hands get hot,red, and itchy?

Im 14 going 15 and this has been happening for years on certain occasions. Sometime when Ive been holding something or carrying something that puts allot of wait on my hands or pushes hard on my hands(for example vacuuming, taking out trash, etc etc...) my hands will get hot and most of the time itchy. Its terrible during the winter when my hands are exposed to the cold weather they also get red and itchy. Also sometimes my fingers(most of the time my thumbs) well get swollen for no reason and most of the time sore. Now the first one when usually wears off within a couple of minutes after the pressure is taken off of my hands, the second one I really dont remember since its summer time and I usually dont take the time to see how long it takes(because it too eventually wears off), and the third one(the most annoying one) sometimes takes until the next day to wear off. I already know what causes the first two but the third is a complete mystery to me. What I want to know is what all three are, what causes them, how to prevent them. Ive told my mom about it a few times but she always says as long as they wear off Im find, and maybe she's right but just to be on the safe side I would really appreciate it if you guys could help me out.

Tooth and gum pain, heavy gum bleeding HELP?

Today I woke up fine, then after a couple hours my tooth started getting really sore, especially when I bit down with it. I hadn't eaten anything yet so nothing was stuck in the gum area. I decided that I might floss to see what the issue was. My gum around the tooth started bleeding TERRIBLY, like a full stream of blood that lasted maybe 5 seconds. I have great oral health. I brush twice a day AND floss AND use mouth wash. I also was just at the dentist 4 weeks ago and they said my teeth were perfect. I rinsed with mouth wash and also rinsed with salt water. What is this, why is bleeding so much (not just some red or pink on the floss but a sudden stream), and what can I do to make it stop? My dentist's office is closed until Tuesday. Please help!

My wife inherited the house we live in from her mother. My dad scares me a lot mentally?

Navel piercing problems?

I have had my navel pierced for about 9 weeks, and for awhile it was doing very well. No irritation or redness. Yesterday, I changed my jewelry as I have done several times before without problems. When I slid the jewelry in, it came out with a thin piece of skin wrapped around it, i pulled the skin off, not really thinking anything of it as it had happened before. I took the jewelry back out and cleaned it a little more with salt water and pressed up on it to make sure anything inside was out. What follows next is unbelieveable: She contacted the woman via here business sell phone to talk with woman who quit frankly was utterly shocked that she called her at 2AM in the morning, printed our email conversations made copies of them and went ( walked - seen on security cameras ) into the woman's executive office, meet with an unidentified person within Baxter International to took the illegally obtained emails, called the sister division HR Mngr. at BCU. This unidentified person at Baxter told BCU HR to have this woman repremanded - keeping in mind that none of emails where from a place of business computer devices. They were all personal computer generated messages. The X then used information obtian through the illegally obtained ( hacked ) infomation to track down the new woman's home which is 20 mins. as way in a completely seperate city and conducted several drive-bys ( stalking of her residence ) by obtaining her address through my personal e-mail account. Following this an another incident of illegal entry into my condo unit commons area not my condo, endless emails, phone calls all using her company blackberry, IPad and computer I decided to report the incidence to the local city municipal authorities who took down the information in a crime report. I handed them several of the emails that my new aquaintence forwarded to my attention as proof that the X had been into my emails and used them to directly contat the new aquaintenc. Yesterday at about 1:50 I got a few shots. 2 in one arm and in the other. So when I got home it was really sore, then when I peeled off the bandaid and it was purple like a bruise. Does anybody here know about skin diseases in miniature poodles?

I am considering adopting a miniature poodle from a local no-kill shelter. She's very malnourished and she's an old dog - all of this is fine and I'm financially prepared for it - but she appears to have skin problems. It's not ringworm or flea-related...I know those problems on sight. Her skin is not crusty or smelly or covered in sores. It's just a sort of general inflammation. The shelter is so strapped for cash right now that it won't do any diagnostics on adult dogs except heartworm before adopting them out, so I won't know what it is until I take her to the vet myself. Ok, so first things first, I haven't had sex since April. Around the end of May, I got a little too frisky with my showerhead and my lady bits were sore for the day. The next day, they stung. Before her arrest she came back home to Illinois because she realized that she needed family support to help her with her addiction and to be a good mom to her child. While in IL, she was arrested and never realized she had a warranty out for her arrest. She was in Cook County jail and extradited to Colorado for her sentencing. She plead guilty because she did not want to lose her child. Her sentence was 4 yrs probation and 10 yrs of sexual offender registration. She completed her probation without any incidents, followed requests to attend drug/alcohol abuse classes, sought psychological therapy. She registers yearly at Il police dept, as required. This last time she went to register she noticed that form indicated her as being a sexual predator and was told she would have to register for LIFE. This is due to Illinois having to match up their laws to Colorado and Illinois considers her predator of criminal sexual abuse. This is not what she plead guilty to in original conviction. She unfortunately got caught up in a situation that she is not. This young man took advantage of her in a passed out state and due to age difference, he got off "scott free" and she is paying for his mistake. She is not a criminal and also not a sexual predator. She just wants to serve her 10 registration which was to have ended in 5 more years and be able to enjoy going to her childs school plays, take her to a park and just be a 'normal' mom and do 'normal' mom things. She is a single mom. Any thoughts out there of how she may be able to fight this 'registering for life-sex predator' status?

ok, ever sense I was 13/14 I used to get mild pimples just on my forehead. I had shaggy long hair and it just came along with greasy hair. I got benzyl peroxide and it helped, but left like red marks, that im assuming are scars. Now i'm 16, and i dont get acne anymore on my forehead, its moved to my face. its moderate, but the pimples i get are like red sore bumps, and as of now only have like 2 active, but like 5-6 dark red marks on each cheek but theyre like left over from acne. These red marks aparently look like moles, and they match my skin, but that all depends on the lighting.. The red marks/scars have been there for months and havent faded. I got minocycline from the doctor a month ago, but that didnt help the red marks at all. 4 days ago i was put on 40mg of accutane, and my dermotologist said "your condition is very moderate it should be all cleared up in a month or 2"... so based on peoples experiences, and what i've said what do you think about my situation? I thought you skin was suppose to break out in the first few months, is it possible to be cured so soon? my friend had it really bad, and he was all cleared up in 3-4 months,.... im on summer holidays now, and i have atleast 60 days left before school, but will that be enough time?

When I got home, I spent about an hour singing and playing my guitar and I was amazed on how good I was sounding and how many notes I could reach. However, the next day, my throat was a little sore and when i tried singing i couldn't reach some notes that I know are in my range. Ever since then, I almost have to strain my voice to reach some notes and it feels like I have a lump in my throat when I sing and I always feel like yawning. Did I damage my voice by singing a lot when I got back? Or am I not doing something correctly? I need help because I have some things I have to sing for coming up.

Switched workout schedule makes my arms feel weaker??!! ?

I use to do biceps and triceps 6 x a week and now I changed my schedule to every other day and my biceps feel like they might be geting bigger but defently not harder if any thing kinda looser is this normal I do around 100 pushups 25 chinups 15 pullups and like 10 hammer pull ups and curls and multiple workout with 40 pounds on a dumbbell curl probly around 40 curls also I raise the bar above my head and use it like I'm lifting weights that gets Ur arms sore I'm 13 5 foot 3 110 I'm defently not fat what I like about my body is I'm not one of those natrually bony skinny peoples I have a flat belly with ABS under that I'm trying to pop out but I'm eating a lot to get my arms big and at the end of each workout I can't touch my shoulders

What to do with an IRS lien?

I was audited for three years in a row, (2005,2006,2007) I filed appeals, but to no avail I was found to be delinquent,according to the lovely people at the IRS. I filed a voluntary payment plan with them two years ago, and they take out an additional $300/month form my check to pay what is owed. I have paid $7,200 since May 2009, but still owe $6,800, They filed a lien on me even though I had been on a payment plan with them for over a year. They frustrate me to no end, but I was told that the lien would be removed when I owe less than $5,000. IS this true? I have looked over the tax laws, and I find talking to them is like banging my head against a wall. I ask, because my house is currently in someone else's name, and I was wondering if the lien is removed after the debt is below 5,000 then can I get my house in my name? Can the lien even be removed if the debt is below 5,000? I am below thirty with a single income, and I am simply tired of the IRS. Any information would be helpful, but honestly I am exasperated, and I really just want to get things in order.

What to do about Columbia House scam?

I'm being called by a collections agency saying that I owe $93.00 for my account at Columbia House saying that I got CDs in the mail in 2007 and didn't return them so they kept my "account" and were charging me. I never received a call or notice of anything until yesterday and now they want me to pay the balance or they will take me to court. I've read many complaints about this company and their scams and found that even though they reported them, nothing was done and they still had to pay. Some didn't but even though I don't remember subscribing to them, I figured I would just pay it off so my credit report could have it as paid rather than delinquent when no one will help. Their customer service is an automated machine so there's no way to get through to them. Nothing is being done and I don't want to go to court unless I find that after I pay, they continue to charge me. Has anyone been in this situation and what did you do? I see many complaints but nothing is resolved and now this has hurt my credit score for the next 7 years.

My right testicle is a little painful i have had this pain for about 3 days. Swollen throat diagnosis?!?

So yesterday I noticed that in the morning, my throat seemed swollen a little bit, but it wasn't sore. It hurts when I swallow, but not like a sore throat hurting, like a pressure hurting. It got worse as the day went on, then this morning it was minor again. Now, in the afternoon, it's worse than yesterday, and when I turn my head it's almost as if my whole throat is closed! On the outside it doesn't look swollen at all and my glands are hardly swollen. What could this be? What's it caused by? I'm only allergic to penicillin and that just gives me hives.

Tooth Extraction Pain?

Hello, I had a bottom tooth pulled a couple of weeks ago and it was a rough extraction(took the dentist nearly an hour and he had to break it in half first). About a week and a half after the extraction I developed a dry socket with extreme radiating pain. I went to the Dentist and he put gauze on it and gave me antibiotics and pain meds and told me I didn't have to come back. Well I took all the antibiotics and still have pain in the extraction site and the tooth next to it is very sore and I wanted to know if maybe my dry socket hasn't healed right or if it just takes a while and if I should go back to the dentist?

My periods are always completely regular, aprox every 33days. I had my period May 15th. I had unprotected sex on May 27th and also again on June 4th. I am not trying to get pregnant, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if we were. I was expecting my period around the 18-19th. No period, took 4 preg since then and all came back negative. On june 22nd I had lower abdominal cramping, not really bad, but since then I've had a clear watery, almost ordorless discharge. I thought it was my period coming late, but alas, no bleeding, just clear watery stuff. My boobs aren't sore, but nipples are really sensitive. Also for a couple days now, i have had heartburn which I've never had a preoblem with. On wednesday night I woke up in the middle of the night chocking because of the heartburn. Hole/crater in gums? Anyone wanna help?

I have a crater like kind of hole in my gums, in the bottom front of my mouth, under my bottom left front tooth. It doesn't bleed or anything, and its white, and a tiny bit of the surrounding skin is white. The crater isn't big but its noticeable. It's sore, and hurts when I mess around with it by moving my bottom lip over my teeth. But the pain is bearable, and I haven't tried anything with it.
