I've had a sore throat and a cough for about a week now, is it strep?

It doesn't really hurt when I swallow food or anything. And, I've noticed that there's now bruises on my leg. Uh. Can anyone help? Please? Haha. Should I just continue taking medicine or go to the doctor?
