Reoccurring pus on tonsil & sore throat?

This may be what is called tonsil stones. It is pretty gross. Food gets caught in your tonsils and then comes out as this smelly squishy thing. My doctor suggested using the back of the toothbrush and scraping upwards to push them out. Yuck! It is a very invasive way to deal with it, but I had my tonsils taken out. Happy not to have those random visitors.
