What are some creative ways to send mail?

My boyfriend is going to be at camp for three weeks and he has no access to a phone or computer. we decided to correspond with letters and I want to be creative and different with every letter. I've heard of sending random things like flip flops as letters. I was wondering what kind of creative things other people could come up with. All ideas are welcome. Thank you :)
