Can someone give me some eye advice?

So, yesterday, my lower eyelid on my left eye was feeling a little sore when I touched it lightly or leaned too far down. Well, today, it was still feeling kind of like that so I looked in the mirror and saw nothing. Then I pulled down my lower lid and saw some sort of a pimple on it. I was majorly grossed out and when I called my eye doctor, the lady at the front desk said the doctor just left and they wouldn't be open until Tuesday. So I called my medical doctor, and they were closed. I'm leaving for New Orleans on the third, and neither doctors opens up until that day or the day after. I know that if it's still there, I can visit a doctor in New Orleans. However, I want to know what it is and what I should do. I'm going to leave my contacts out today to see if that might help. But i still want to know what's wrong.
