Homemade ways to cure a sore throat?

Ok so I came to the conclusion that I have a sore throat it's been sore of a week now I took some nightquil but it didn't work then 1 night later I took some dayquil and I felt it working and my throat was fine but once I went to sleep it was back and I sleep with my mouth open so today when I got home from summer school I took some more dayquil and it did the same thing I felt it working and then I took a nap but once I woke up my throat was back hurting & also another thing the same day I got my sore throat I have been having puss coming out the corner of both my eyes I have been desling with this for a week and I'm just so tired of feeling like this I dang near wanna cry because this is really getting on my nerves I just want to fee better that's all I want I wanted to talk to you guys to see what ya'll think and by the way I'm 17
